FOR VICTORIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS
Let us help you implement VTLM 2.0 across your school
VTLM 2.0 Insights helps measure how effectively VTLM 2.0 practices are being implemented across your school, capturing confidential student perceptions mapped directly to VTLM 2.0 strategies and practices, with next-day reporting at the teacher, classroom, cohort, or whole-school level.

Build a longitudinal view of VTLM 2.0 practice term-on-term
Run the data collection cycle each term to surface how teaching practice is being experienced by students across your school. Each cycle adds to a growing picture - helping leaders identify focus areas for professional learning, inform implementation conversations, and support school improvement documentation.
Practice-level data across three Elements
of Teaching
Every question maps to a specific VTLM 2.0 strategy and practice across three Elements of Teaching, so leaders can see exactly which practices are embedded and which are still emerging.
Explicit Teaching
Learning intentions and success criteria, modelling, worked examples, clear instructions, feedback, checking for understanding, scaffolding, and differentiation.
Enabling Learning
Classroom routines, behavioural expectations, cultural inclusion, student engagement, questioning, and appropriate challenge.
Supported Application
Retrieval practice, spaced practice, interleaving, deep questioning, real-world application, collaborative learning, and metacognitive strategies.
Planning is not included, as lesson design and preparation occur before instruction and are not directly observable in the classroom.
Data across classrooms, cohorts, and departments
VTLM 2.0 Insights reports at the level you need. View implementation data by classroom, by year level, by department, or across the whole school, making it easy to identify where practices are consistent and where specific teams or cohorts may need targeted support.
Individual teacher reports are also available, visible only to the teacher themselves. All insights remains confidential, no leader or administrator can access another teacher's individual results.

How it sits alongside AtoSS, NAPLAN, and other measures
Schools already measure student outcomes through NAPLAN, attitudes through AtoSS, and curriculum progress through internal measures such as grades. VTLM 2.0 Insights adds what's missing: how teaching practices are being implemented at the classroom level, as experienced by students.

Used across Victorian schools
"Pivot has given us practice-level data we've never had before. We can now see exactly which strategies are landing and which need more support at the teacher level."
